With over ten years of experience in aluminum processing and overseas exports at Haomei Aluminum, and drawing on practical delivery and application experience in global markets including Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and North America, we have custom-designed black anodized aluminum sheets specifically for laser engraving applications. From structural design to process control, everything is tailored to engraving precision, finished product durability, and export suitability, meeting the stringent requirements of high-end signage, precision panels, and industrial nameplates.

This product features an integrated structure of substrate and double-layer oxide film. Its core advantage lies in the metallurgical bonding between the oxide film and the substrate, fundamentally differentiating it from the physical adhesion mode of ordinary spray-coated sheets.

First, the substrate is selected from 1060 pure aluminum or 5052 alloy aluminum. This type of substrate has excellent ductility and uniform composition, avoiding problems such as substrate brittleness and uneven engraving during laser engraving, providing a stable base for the engraving effect.

Second, a low-temperature electrochemical anodizing process is used to generate a double-layer oxide film in situ on the substrate surface. The total film thickness is precisely controlled between 8-15μm. The bottom 1-2μm layer is a dense barrier layer, mainly used to improve the substrate’s insulation and surface hardness, preventing film damage during engraving. The surface layer is a uniform porous adsorption layer with a porosity strictly controlled between 20%-30%. This layer can efficiently adsorb black inorganic dyes to form a uniform pure black base color, and can also be quickly and precisely peeled off during laser ablation to expose the silver-white aluminum substrate, forming a high-contrast black and white marking.

Furthermore, this structure has no organic coating, producing no smoke or odor during laser engraving, making it suitable for cleanrooms and precision electronic processing scenarios. This is one of our core competitive advantages for exporting to high-end electronics customers in Europe and America.

Standardized and flexible specifications are key to ensuring equipment compatibility for overseas customers and reducing acceptance costs. Our anodized aluminum sheet products fully comply with international standards while also catering to customized needs.

In terms of dimensions, the plate thickness covers the entire range of 0.4-3.0mm, with a standard size of 1220×2440mm. It can be cut to a minimum size of 10×10mm or an extra-large size of 2000×6000mm according to the customer’s laser equipment model and production needs. Dimensional tolerances are strictly controlled within ±0.05mm, and flatness is ≤0.1mm/m, perfectly compatible with mainstream laser engraving machines such as fiber optic and CO₂ lasers.

In terms of appearance, it adopts a matte pure black design with a gloss level controlled between 15-30GU to avoid laser reflection interfering with engraving precision. Color difference ΔE ≤1.5, free from uneven surfaces, spots, and other appearance defects, meeting the appearance requirements of high-end products.

In terms of certification standards, all products comply with GB/T 8013 and ASTM B91 international standards, and are equipped with SGS and RoHS certification reports. They are directly compatible with the market access requirements of the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Europe and America. Years of export experience have proven that this specification configuration can increase the customer acceptance rate to over 99%.

The clarity and consistency of laser engraving rely heavily on precise control throughout the entire production process. We have established a dedicated technical control system to avoid common industry problems such as engraving burrs and film peeling.

First, we control the oxidation process, using a low-temperature sulfuric acid system at 18±2℃. An intelligent temperature control system stabilizes the electrolyte temperature, coupled with a constant current power supply of 1.5-2.0A/dm², ensuring uniform and densely distributed pores in the porous oxide layer, providing a stable foundation for dye adsorption and laser ablation.

Second, we control coloring and sealing, selecting high-temperature resistant inorganic dyes to avoid carbonization and blackening during laser engraving with organic dyes. We also optimize the sealing process, using medium-temperature sealing instead of high-temperature sealing to prevent film embrittlement, ensuring sharp, burr-free lines with a minimum line width of 0.1mm.

Third, we control export compatibility, adding weather resistance treatment for the humid and high-salt environments of long-distance sea transport. The neutral salt spray test can reach over 500 hours, with no corrosion or fading of the film, making it suitable for overseas outdoor and industrial applications and solving the performance degradation problem of exported products after long-distance transportation.

The core advantages of our products lie in “performance adaptability + efficient delivery,” perfectly aligning with the core needs of overseas laser processing manufacturers.

In terms of performance, in addition to high engraving precision and uniform color difference, the oxide film boasts a hardness of HV350-450, making it wear-resistant and scratch-resistant, capable of withstanding long-term industrial environmental friction, and ensuring the finished product does not fade or peel.

Regarding delivery, leveraging Haomei Aluminum’s large-scale production line with a monthly capacity exceeding 5000 tons, we can achieve stable batch supply, meeting the large orders of overseas clients while also quickly responding to small-batch customized urgent orders.

For export support, we employ customized moisture-proof and scratch-resistant packaging, combined with standardized container loading, controlling long-distance transportation losses to within 0.5%.

For many years, we have provided raw material supplies to laser equipment manufacturers in dozens of countries worldwide, and our stable performance and efficient delivery have earned us continuous repeat purchases from overseas clients.
