Half hard aluminum sheet refers to aluminum alloy that has a certain hardness and strength after certain processing and heat treatment, but still maintains a certain plasticity and ductility. This temper is usually formed by cold processing (such as rolling, stretching, etc.) without complete aging treatment or annealing.
The following are some common half hard aluminum sheets:
- 1060-H24 aluminum sheet
– Features: 1060 aluminum sheet belongs to industrial pure aluminum, which is formed by adding a small amount of copper elements. It has excellent forming and processing characteristics, high corrosion resistance, good weldability and conductivity, low strength, heat treatment cannot strengthen, and poor machinability, but it can withstand various pressure processing and extension and bending.
– Application: Widely used in products with low strength requirements, such as signs, billboards, building exterior decoration, bus bodies, high-rise and factory wall decoration, kitchen sinks, lamp holders, fan blades, electronic parts, etc.
2.1100-H26 aluminum plate
– Features: The aluminum content of 1100 aluminum sheet reaches more than 99.00%, with high plasticity, corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity. The H26 temper makes its hardness and strength higher than H24. While maintaining certain processing performance, it can provide better strength support.
– Application: Commonly used in kitchenware, decorations, reflective appliances, hardware products and other fields, and can also be used for the manufacture of some industrial parts with high requirements for corrosion resistance and formability.
- 3003-H24 aluminum sheet
– Features: 3003 aluminum sheet belongs to aluminum-manganese alloy. Manganese is added to pure aluminum to improve strength and corrosion resistance. It has good bending and processing performance in the H24 temper, and the tensile strength can reach about 240MPa.
– Application: It is widely used in building curtain walls, roofs, wall decorations, automobile body panels, ship interiors and other fields. It is also commonly used to make various containers, pipes, radiators, etc.
- 3005-H24 aluminum plate
– Features: It is an aluminum-manganese-magnesium alloy. Magnesium is added to the 3003 aluminum alloy to further improve the strength and corrosion resistance. It has good comprehensive properties in the half hard temper, including fatigue resistance, corrosion resistance and processing performance.
– Application: Commonly used in roof and wall materials in the construction industry, body structural parts and interior parts in the automotive industry, housings and radiators in electronic equipment, etc.
- 5052-H34 aluminum plate
– Features: 5052 aluminum sheet belongs to an aluminum-magnesium alloy with a magnesium content of 2.2%-2.8%. It has high strength and hardness, good seawater corrosion resistance and fatigue resistance. The H34 temper indicates that it has been processed hardened and stabilized, and has good dimensional stability and mechanical properties.
– Application: It is commonly used in the manufacture of aircraft fuel tanks, oil pipes, automotive parts, ship structural parts, pressure vessels, electrical equipment housings, etc. It is widely used in aerospace, automobiles, ships, electronics and other fields.
